Privacy

Your information, handled with care.

What we collect, how we use it, who handles it, and how to delete your account.

Rizq Table is operated by RedTagHub, Canada. Contact: info@rizqtable.com. You can delete your account and data at any time.

Your information

What we collect: your email address, first name or nickname and a scrambled (hashed) password; and what you choose to enter about your family: the people you cook for (names, age group, allergies, dislikes), your kitchen equipment, pantry, meal plans, grocery lists, favourites, votes on recipes and any recipes you add. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or payment details, and the app has no ads or analytics trackers.

How we use it: only to run Rizq Table: to sign you in, build your plans and lists, keep a shared family in sync, and send account emails such as a password reset. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising. The one thing other families can see is a recipe you wrote and we approved, with your first name as its author (see "Recipes you write and add").

Who handles it: our hosting and database provider stores it on our behalf, and an email service delivers account emails. They may process it only to provide those services. Data is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

People in your family: anyone you invite shares your plan, pantry and lists, and can see the names and details you enter about the family.

Dinner guests: someone invited to a dinner does not need an account. They give a name and, if they choose, foods they avoid. Their name is shown to the host and the other guests; the foods they avoid are shown only to the host. Their name, food notes, votes and chat messages are deleted 30 days after the dinner. The host can remove a guest at any time.

Invite links are private: anyone who has the link can join, so share it only with the people you invite. A link stops working two days after the dinner, and the host can replace it at any time.

Delete your account: in the app, open Family, then Account, then "Delete my account", and enter your password. If you are the only person in your family, your family and everything in it is deleted straight away. If other people share your family, only your login is removed and the family stays with them. A recipe you wrote that we approved and other families have already planned may stay, without your name. You can also ask us by email at info@rizqtable.com. Full steps are on our account deletion page.

Children: the app is meant for parents and carers (18 and over). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

Free during beta

Rizq Table is free to use while it is in beta. We may introduce paid plans later. We will tell you in the app before anything changes, and families who joined during the beta (founding members) will get 30% off their first year of a paid plan.

This website and beta sign-up

This website uses Google Analytics and marketing pixels and tags to measure visits and the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and send information such as your IP address, device, browser and the pages you view to Google and other providers. When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept all, reject all, or choose. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, optional cookies stay off until you accept them. Elsewhere they run when the site opens, and choosing "Reject all" turns them off and clears them. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to turn off marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer, and through your browser settings. The Rizq Table app itself has no ads or analytics trackers. This website does not ask you to create an account.

If you sign up for early access, you give us the Google (Gmail) address you want added to the Google Play test. The sign-up form is a Google Form, so Google handles what you type into it under its own terms and privacy policy. We use your address only to add you to the test and to send you messages about the beta. We do not sell it or share it for advertising. To be removed, email us and we will delete it.

If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to reply and handle your request.
